Every business registered in Virginia — LLC, corporation, or foreign entity doing business there — has a public record with the Virginia registry. Type the buyer's legal name and we return that record together with its US customs import profile.
What the Virginia record shows
Whether the entity exists and is in good standing, when it was formed, its registered agent, the officers or managers on file, and whether it is a home-state entity or a foreign company registered in Virginia. A buyer that is dissolved, suspended, or unknown to the registry is the single most common warning sign in export defaults.
Then read the imports
US customs manifests show whether the company actually imports — how many ocean shipments, how recently, what products, and from which countries. A "buyer" with no import history placing a large first order is a pattern worth a signed investigation.
